The Board of Directors of the Canadian Amateur Sport Society, organizers of the Canada Cup International Softball Championship, would like to thank Minister Melanie Mark, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport as well as the Province of British Columbia for their ongoing support, including the announcement of $50,000 in grant funding for the annual Canada Cup Softball Championship as part of the BC Fairs, Festivals and Events Program.
Held annually for the past 25 years at Softball City, the event is recognized as one of the greatest international softball tournaments in the world. The financial support announced by Minister Mark will go directly to producing next year’s event, June 17 – 26, 2022.
