Softball City SuperKids Program Initiative
Canadian Amateur Sport Society has taken the initiative to develop a community program for under-represented youth. Our first step is hosting our SuperKids Camp Series this summer!
Our program is a transformative initiative aimed at providing all kids with the opportunity to play softball and experience the power of community support.
We find that softball has the remarkable ability to bring people together, fostering teamwork, resilience, and personal growth. For too long, there have been a plethora of barriers affecting participation in youth sport; we firmly believe that every child should have the chance to feel empowered and represented, regardless of their background or circumstances. The SuperKids Program aims to break down those barriers by waiving all camp fees for children of low-income families, newly landed immigrants, and refugees, as well as Indigenous children to ensure all children have the chance to engage in this wonderful sport.
At SuperKids, we are more than just a sports camp; we are a community of support, friendship, and growth. It is our mission to bring children together from different backgrounds and create an environment that celebrates our unique experiences, cultures, and identities. By encouraging unity and understanding through sport, we hope to build bridges and lasting connections within our community.
Our aim is to ensure that every child who desires to be part of our camp can fully enjoy the experience of summer camp without any limitations. Join us in creating a brighter and more inclusive future for all children in the sport of fastpitch. Together, we can make a significant impact on these deserving extraordinary individuals. Your contribution will directly make a lasting difference in the lives of all our SuperKids.
