Championship Round
After completion of preliminary round play, all teams will be seeded one (1) through 18, based on scoring criteria. The bottom four (4) teams (15 – 18), will compete in play-in games (SCP-A & SCP-B) to earn a position in the 16 team Championship Round. The losers of SCP-A & SCP-B will play an extra game (SCP-EG) to fulfill the Canada Cup game guarantee (These games are not displayed on the play-off grids). The Championship Round is a double elimination format with a sudden death championship final (no 'if necessary game' played).
